School of Pharmacy
Pharmaceutical Education Center
Greetings from the Director
The purpose of undergraduate education is to enable students to fully utilize their abilities in society after graduation, contribute to society, and live fulfilling lives. To that end, undergraduate faculty members use their expertise in the curriculum to deliver lectures. However, individual students do not all have the same personality or aptitude, and the environments in which they are placed are also not uniform. Therefore, even if students attend the same lecture, they will not all be able to understand it in the same way.
Pharmaceutical Education Center was established to resolve the questions and concerns that arise in learning due to the diversity of students. We provide a variety of support, including consultations on parts of the curriculum that students do not understand and on study methods, as well as advice on long-term study plans to pass the national exam. In addition, we provide support tailored to the pace and personality of each student, such as supplementary lessons and exercises based on gamification theory, which uses games in education. The full-time faculty and specialized administrative staff at the center are eager to support their learning by acting as pacemakers who are always there for each student.
