Student Education Support

The School of Pharmacy provides continuous educational support to each and every student, from before enrollment through to after graduation. Our friendly and student-oriented faculty will provide you with attentive and thorough support.
One of the characteristics of our university is that students and faculty are close to each other, as there are many opportunities for communication.

本学では、入学予定者を対象に入学前教育を実施しています。入学予定者は、これまでに履修してきた科目や学習経験など、それぞれ異なる背景を持っています。そのため、入学後に大学での学びへスムーズに移行できるよう、学習面からサポートを行っています。
入学前教育では、大学での学びを一足早く体験しながら、高校での学習内容を確認できる教材を用意しています。課題の提出ややり取りを通じて学習を支援する伴走型の体制を整えつつ、最終的には自ら学習を進める力を身につけられるよう工夫しています。
さらに、薬学への興味・関心を高め、主体的に学び続ける力を養うことを目的として、本学での実習を通じた学習機会も提供しています。この機会は、入学予定者同士や在学生との交流の場にもなっています。（※新型コロナウイルス感染症等の影響により、オンライン開催に変更となる場合があります。）
このように本学では、入学前から学習面の支援を行うとともに、入学後の学生生活を安心して楽しく始められるよう、さまざまなサポートを提供しています。

低学年次には、学生３~4名に教員1名の割合でグループを構成するアドバイザー制度を導入しています。アドバイザーとなった専任の教員が定期的に個人面談を行い、学生の学修面や生活面の相談に乗り、入学後の孤立を防ぎます。また、自主的な学修習慣が身につくよう、課題の提出・添削や会話をとおして学生を支援します。

アドバイザー制度に加えて、クラス担任制度を設けています。学年ごとにクラスを編成し、各クラスに主担任と副担任を1名ずつ配置しています。担任教員は、学修面や学生生活に関する身近な相談相手として、一人ひとりの学生をサポートしています。

In their fourth year, all students are assigned to a research lab. After being assigned, they spend more time in the lab, and many students use the lab not only for experiments and research, but also as a place to study on their own.
The professors in the lab who you interact with daily are not only there to guide you in your research, but are also there to help you with your national exam preparation and resolve any worries you may have in your daily life. If you have any problems, they are there to help you kindly.


Through these educational support measures, School of Pharmacy has established a support system to ensure that students can live a safe and meaningful student life.
