School of Pharmacy
Message from the Dean, School of Medicine
University hospital education + multi-professional collaborative education = Cultivating "pharmacists who support team medical care"

Modern medicine is changing into "team medicine" where many medical staff work together and cooperate with each other. Hyogo Medical University is a comprehensive medical university with four faculties: School of Medicine, School of Pharmacy, School of Nursing, and School of Rehabilitation. It offers unique medical education by utilizing the university hospital, which practices team medicine, as an educational facility.
Our university offers interdisciplinary, cross-disciplinary education across faculties for students from lower to upper grades, and provides many opportunities to learn together with students from other faculties. In order to develop practical pharmacists who support team medical care, many medical professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and nurses from the university hospital, give lectures and practical training to directly teach students, and provide education directly linked to the medical field.
In the fifth year, all students will have the opportunity to receive hospital training at the new hospital of Hyogo Medical University, providing an opportunity to learn cutting-edge medical care under the latest equipment. Please come to our school to study pharmacy and practice team medicine.
