Clinical Pharmacy

Pharmacist services in Japan are required to shift from traditional object-oriented services to person-oriented services, as well as to play a role in health support functions, advanced pharmaceutical care functions, and community-based care systems.
Our laboratory is focusing on novel pharmacist services in Japan and conducting research on their social effects and psychological change in pharmacists. Collaborating with various pharmacies and hospitals, our research themes include novel pharmacist services, the impact of such services on society and multiple professions, and the development of educational methods and effectiveness of education for acquiring the qualities and abilities required of pharmacists in the future.
