Hospital practical training and early exposure learning at Hyogo Medical University Hospital
Hyogo Medical University Hospital fully supports practical training. In addition to the usual 2.5 months of hospital practical training, unique additional practical training is also planned. In addition, Hyogo Medical University Hospital fully backs up the early clinical experience training conducted in the first year. Students can experience observation of ward work (including the work of other professions such as nurses), which is usually difficult to do.
Extensive team medical care
Many team medical related subjects such as "Introduction to Team Medical Care" and "Team Medical Care Seminar" are incorporated into the curriculum. In addition, joint lectures by faculties and inter-faculty lectures such as "Nursing Theory" provide a borderless learning environment that transcends the boundaries of faculties. Early clinical experience training at Hyogo Medical University Hospital is also conducted jointly by faculties.
Small-group, long-term, in-depth seminars
Each faculty member holds a small seminar once a week from the second year. The laboratories are always open, and the research building has booths where faculty members can answer students' questions and provide supplementary lessons. The relationship between faculty and students is close, and in preparation for the practical training that begins in the fifth year, students are instructed not only on knowledge and skills, but also on the attitude of a medical professional.
