School of Nursing
Message from the Dean, School of Medicine
Nurturing nursing professionals with rich humanity and advanced expertise

In the favorable educational environment of Hyogo Medical University, School of Nursing is cultivating the next generation of nursing professionals who are endowed with rich humanity, who understand people's pain and suffering, the dignity of life, and various values, and who have solid, advanced nursing practice skills.
The four-year curriculum of School of Nursing not only includes lectures and exercises on campus, but also practical training in real nursing settings such as hospitals, facilities, and the community. We have created a very favorable learning environment through close cooperation with Hyogo Medical University Hospital, which provides advanced acute care within the same corporation, and Hyogo Medical University Sasayama Medical Center, which contributes to community medicine. Even in graduate school education, students can deepen their learning by learning about the latest knowledge and issues through lectures by various experts. We are also proud of our long track record in team medical education, taking advantage of the strengths of a comprehensive medical university.
In an increasingly chaotic society, people's expectations of nursing and medical care are only increasing. At the same time, the scope of nursing activities is expanding more than ever before. In order to cultivate nursing professionals who can respond to these times and thrive, our School of Nursing makes the most of the strengths of a comprehensive medical university to provide a wide range of learning opportunities and strives to provide an education that sincerely addresses the needs and individuality of each student.
