Research

External research funding acquisition status

Various funding agencies, including the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and other government ministries and agencies under their jurisdiction, operate open research funding systems (competitive research funding).
At Hyogo Medical University, many research projects have been selected for various competitive research grants and similar funding.

Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI)

The Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research) is a competitive research grant aimed at dramatically advancing all "academic research" (research based on researchers' own ideas) from basic to applied, across all fields, from the humanities and social sciences to the natural sciences.

Other open external research funding

Various funding agencies, such as the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED), and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), each define their own areas of focus and objectives, then widely solicit research projects that can achieve these objectives and allocate funds as commissioned research expenses or subsidies.
