Regarding fair research activities

Our university is promoting organizational efforts to prevent research misconduct in advance, and has established the "Hyogo College of Medicine School Corporation Regulations for Handling Research Misconduct" to appropriately respond to misconduct that does occur.
Going forward, based on the "Guidelines for Responding to Research Misconduct (Adopted by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology)" and other guidelines, individual researchers and research institutions will continue to work together to take a strict stance against misconduct and strive to develop fair and appropriate academic research.

Research ethics education

Our university has introduced the APRIN e-learning program (eAPRIN), which is recommended by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, as a form of research ethics education for researchers and others based on the "Guidelines for Responding to Misconduct in Research Activities (Adopted by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology)" and the "Ethical Guidelines for Life Science and Medical Research Involving Human Subjects (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, and Ministry of Industry Notification No. 1)."

Storage and management of research data

Researchers and other related parties must have the means to prove the legitimacy of their research activities, and must store and manage materials such as experimental data to ensure verifiability by third parties.
Our university has established "Regulations for the Storage and Management of Research Data at Hyogo Medical University," which stipulate that researchers submit to the university the minimum amount of data necessary for the university to verify experimental data and other data related to research published in the form of original papers.
