These radiation education materials are designed to be easy for junior and senior high school students to understand, by relating the physical properties of radiation, its effects on the body, and its use in the field of nuclear medicine. In addition, we have incorporated practical exercises and gamification so that students can take part in the course, and have also planned content such as practical books and demonstration videos.
In November 2024, students from Professor Fujino's laboratory will be conducting educational activities using the content they have planned, such as giving a lecture titled "Measure radiation and apply a reagent! What is this?" to second-year junior high school students at Wakayama Shinai Junior and Senior High School, and "Connect and learn! Radiation cards" to second-year high school students (medical and nursing course) as outreach classes.
