Cardiovascular surgeon takes second place in AAA Triathlon, a competition to test vascular surgery skills and knowledge

On May 22, 2025, the team of Assistant Professor Uemura Takashi of the Department Department of Cardiovascular Surgery.
A total of 60 young vascular surgeons participated in this triathlon, divided into 20 teams, and tackled patch anastomosis in the preliminary round. The eight teams that won the preliminary round then competed in coil embolization, aortic anastomosis, and a quiz to test their knowledge in the final round.
