"Hyogo Medical University Medicine Health Promotion Supporter" Exchange Meeting Held ~ Residents become supporters and support local health promotion
On Wednesday, July 10th, a networking event for Hyogo Medical University Health Promotion Supporters was held at the Kobe Campus in collaboration with the Health and Welfare Division of Kobe City's Chuo Ward Office. 31 registered supporters participated, learning about the health status of elderly people in Hyogo Prefecture based on data. Each supporter also gave a presentation about the classes they currently run. In the subsequent group work, participants discussed future health promotion and community initiatives, resulting in a discussion-style event filled with laughter. We hope that this networking event will be useful in promoting health in the community in the future.
What is Hyogo Medical University Medicine Health Promotion Supporter?
With the aim of encouraging residents to take the initiative in promoting health in the community, our university is collaborating with Kobe City's Chuo Ward to train "Hyogo Medical University Medicine Health Promotion Supporters." Those who have completed the program are active in their local areas, teaching exercises and other activities.
