Our hospital's hematopoietic cell transplant coordinator receives "HCT Contribution Award"

Mariko Kawaguchi, Hematopoietic Cell Transplant Coordinator, Department of Hematology, Hyogo Medical University Hospital (Location: Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture; Hospital Director: Hiroki Ikeuchi), received the HCT Contribution Award.
This award was launched this year at the General Meeting of the Japanese Society of Hematopoietic and Immuno-Cell Therapy, held March 21-23, 2024, and is presented to individuals who have contributed to the development of hematopoietic cell transplantation medicine in the region over many years and have earned the trust of the local community.
The society also recognized him as a "Specialist Hematopoietic Cell Transplant Coordinator (Specialist HCTC)," one of only three such individuals in the country, including Kawaguchi.
