The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has launched the "Hanshin Five Universities Sustainable Cancer Human Resources Development Plan" to train cancer professionals.

The five universities of Kinki University, Osaka Metropolitan University, Kansai Medical University, Kobe University, and Hyogo Medical University Medicine are launching the fourth phase of the "Hanshin Five Universities Sustainable Cancer Human Resources Development Plan," with Kinki University at the center as the project's representative, in order to train "cancer specialist medical professionals."
