Soka University ranked in "THE World University Rankings 2024"

On May 1, 2024, the British education magazine Times Higher Education (THE) published its World University Rankings 2024, placing the university in the 1201st-1500th place overall. Of the 1906 universities in 108 countries included in the ranking, 119 were Japanese universities, with ICU ranking 41st. Furthermore, ICU was ranked joint top alongside Showa University among medical universities with pharmacy departments, and received high marks for ranking 8th among private universities in Japan in the research environment category and 10th in the education category.
In addition, in the 2024 Asia University Rankings, which uses a different index based on the World University Rankings, the university was ranked between 401st and 500th.
