Academic exchange with Kwansei Gakuin University
Hyogo Medical University and Kwansei Gakuin University Sign Comprehensive Agreement on Academic Exchange

Hyogo Medical University and Kwansei Gakuin University, both based in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, have concluded a comprehensive agreement with the aim of enriching and developing education and research through academic exchanges between students and faculty, mutual offering of courses, and promoting friendly relations. The agreement was signed by the presidents of both universities on July 12, 2007.
Going forward, both universities will strive to achieve the following:
1. Mutual exchange of students (including graduate students) and faculty
2. Mutual provision of courses (mutual recognition of credits and two-way classes)
3. Collaborative research for academic development
4. Academic and technical exchanges and information sharing related to education and research
5. Other
As a special selection process for students of Kwansei Gakuin High School, we conduct school recommendation-type selection (special selection) in School of Medicine, School of Pharmacy, School of Nursing, and School of Rehabilitation.
Students at Hyogo Medical University take basic liberal arts courses offered at Kwansei Gakuin University's Nishinomiya-Uegahara campus, and Hyogo Medical University recognizes these courses as credits. (Students in their first year at Kwansei Gakuin University select and take the following courses.)

Students from Kwansei Gakuin University take medical courses at Hyogo Medical University Medicine as well as medical courses taught by Hyogo Medical University College of Medicine faculty at Kwansei Gakuin University, and Kwansei Gakuin University recognizes these as credits. (Kwansei Gakuin University accepts students from the first to fourth years of their studies as course students.)
