School of Rehabilitation-Department of Physical Therapy
Message from the Dean
The strength of Department of Physical Therapy is the environment in which students can learn on their own and grow with their peers.

In recent years, the field of physical therapy has been expanding significantly. Physical therapists are expected to play an active role in solving social problems in a wide range of fields, including not only the traditional field of rehabilitation, but also community care, disability prevention, health promotion, sports, women's health, and the use of advanced technology.
In addition, when physical therapists support patients, they are required to work in cooperation with various other professionals, such as doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and pharmacists. They need the ability to provide the best possible care while maintaining solid expertise and cooperating with other professions.
Furthermore, to thrive in the ever-evolving world of physical therapy, it is essential to have the ability to proactively seek out new knowledge and solve problems.
