Physiology

生理学は、「生」（いきている）「理」（ことわり）、すなわち「体の基本的な機能と仕組み」を解き明かす学問です。体の仕組みを理解することにより、より健康な体づくり、病気の理解、治療、予防に貢献します。

当研究室では、慢性難治性疼痛や虚血性神経障害などの神経系における病態について、分子生物学的、電気生理学的、行動薬理学的手法を用いて解析を行い、その発生機序を解明するための研究に取り組んでいます。さらに、薬物による病態制御法の開発と臨床応用に向けてのシーズ探索も行っています。

2. Search for seeds against chronic intractable pain
3. Analysis of ischemic neuropathy and development of its treatments
4. Analysis of neurotransmission disorders and development of treatment for dementia
