School of Pharmacy- Laboratory Introduction
Molecular Biology
Biological Sciences
Molecular biology is a field that aims to understand living organisms at the molecular level, and is currently an essential field in medical and pharmaceutical research. In our laboratory, we use molecular biological techniques to study interactions between membrane proteins such as transporters and gap junctions, which are drug delivery pathways, and the mechanisms of adverse drug reactions. We aim to identify molecules involved in protein interactions and adverse drug reactions, and to use these findings in the development of therapeutic drugs and in vitro diagnostic agents.
