Graduate School of Nursing
Message from the Dean

In response to social changes, we strive to develop human resources who respect life and human rights, who can practice nursing creatively and scientifically, and who can engage in nursing education and research.
Graduate School of Nursing will begin offering doctoral courses in 2025. Accordingly, the current master's course will be renamed the "Master's Course," and a learning system will be established with a Master's Course (Master's) and a Doctoral Course (Doctoral), which takes into account the positioning and continuity of each degree.
In order to meet the diverse needs of students, the Master's Program offers two courses, "Basic Nursing Research" and "CNS Course: Nursing Research and Advanced Practice," to help students achieve their goals.
In the doctoral program, we have established the "Field of Nursing Practice Development Science." In this field, we clarify issues in nursing practice from a global and interdisciplinary perspective, conduct in-depth analysis of the issues based on theories and evidence from nursing and related fields, and advance theory construction and exploration of nursing care. This will support the development of human resources who can not only develop nursing care as nursing practitioners, administrators, educators, and researchers, but also effectively implement research findings.
Graduate School of Nursing will continue to improve the quality of education and research, and contribute to improving people's health and quality of life (QOL) through collaboration with the local community. We sincerely hope that you will grow significantly in this graduate school and become a driving force in nursing in the future.
Dean of the Graduate School of Nursing
