Overview of the Clinical Education Center and a Message from the Director
Clinical Education Center
The Clinical Education Center aims to develop and promote interprofessional education (IPE) in order to develop human resources who can practice medicine through interprofessional work (IPW) in a timely manner that responds to advances in medicine and healthcare and changes in society. It also aims to enhance students' practical clinical education, build a consistent educational system before and after graduation, and provide IPE and career support to medical professionals at our university and in the local community.
Greetings Director Education and Training Center for Students and Professionals in Healthcare

The Clinical Education Center was established in April 2022 based on the former Medical Professional Development and Training Center, with the aim of promoting multi-disciplinary collaborative education that takes advantage of the benefits of the integration of the Medical University and the Health Science University.
Traditionally, the "pre-graduate education" of School of Medicine students and the "post-graduate education" of interns were separated by the acquisition of a medical license. However, in recent years, with the rapid increase in knowledge and skills to be acquired along with medical advances, and the increasing importance of collaboration with other medical professionals, a seamless clinical education from practical training to training is being sought. In addition, in the field of nursing, there is a demand for more specialized certified nurses and nurses with high skills for specific medical procedures. These are also social issues that are linked to the task shifting and task sharing initiatives aimed at the full-scale reform of doctors' working styles that will begin this year.
Hyogo Medical University is a comprehensive medical university with faculties of School of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Rehabilitation and is taking advantage of this strength to provide borderless education across faculties through collaboration between the university hospital, Sasayama Medical Center, and Sasayama Geriatric Health Care Facility. In this environment, the Clinical Education Center will comprehensively grasp medicine and healthcare and work to develop excellent medical professionals who will be the leaders of the team medical care required for next-generation healthcare. We appreciate your support.
