Pharmacotherapeutics I-III (various diseases, etc.) (3rd year)
Understanding the causes of diseases and basic knowledge about diagnosis are extremely important when performing the work of a pharmacist. In this course, students will gain an accurate understanding of symptoms and changes in clinical test values for various diseases, focusing on the eight types of diseases specified in the pharmacy core curriculum, and will also acquire basic knowledge about the medicines used to treat them.

The instructor is a full-time faculty member at our university and a practicing physician. He currently gives lectures while examining patients on a daily basis. The lectures incorporate a wealth of up-to-date and practical knowledge from the field. This provides valuable information on the medical field for students who will work as pharmacists in the future.

The lectures are given by doctors who practice medicine at Hyogo Medical University Hospital. This excellent faculty structure is unique to our university, which has a university hospital under the same umbrella organization.
