Community Pharmacy (4th year)

Simply having knowledge of medicines is not enough to be a successful pharmacist. In this class, students will learn how to apply the basic pharmaceutical knowledge they have acquired in the medical field. By listening directly to pharmacists who are active in the field and participating in group work, students will understand the content of the work of pharmacists in community pharmacies, think about the pharmacist's professional functions and contributions to society, and about pharmacists who are trusted by patients and active in the community.

[Point 1]

The instructor is a pharmacist who has not only abundant experience as a pharmacist, but also valuable experience in emergency medical care such as disaster medical care. The lecture content, which assumes various situations that can only be gained from experience, will foster "practical knowledge" to be active as a pharmacist in the future.

[Point 2]

By considering how to approach patients as people, including considering their backgrounds, students will think about the true essence of medical professionals and learn about the significance of pharmacists' existence.
