In order to select such students, we conduct comprehensive selection, school recommendation selection, and general selection.
Comprehensive Selection
This is a selection method that places emphasis on "ability to think, judge, and express" as well as "initiative, diversity, and collaboration." We evaluate and judge candidates from multiple angles and comprehensively through a combination of aptitude tests and interviews that evaluate from multiple perspectives.
School recommendation selection
This is a selection method based on the recommendation of the principal of the high school they attended, with an emphasis on "independence, diversity, and collaboration." Applicants are evaluated and judged comprehensively from multiple angles, including an evaluation of "knowledge and skills" based on school records and aptitude tests.
General Selection
This is a selection method that is primarily conducted through academic ability tests. In addition to "knowledge and skills," the academic ability tests also evaluate and judge "ability to think, judge, and express" based on the high school curriculum guidelines.
Evaluation and Judgment Criteria
Regardless of the selection method, admission will be determined based on whether the candidate possesses the qualities and abilities shown in the desired profile and has sufficient academic ability as a student aiming to become a medical professional. We are looking for people who have a fulfilling high school life, balanced academic ability in all subjects, and excellent humanity. We also welcome people who have participated in a variety of activities and unique activities at high school. In addition to the above, for school recommendation selection (regional designation system), we are looking for people who have an understanding of and enthusiasm for regional medical care.

General Selection A (four-subject type) seeks individuals with a passion for becoming a doctor and sufficient academic ability, including working adults and graduates of other faculties. General Selection B (English Qualification Exam Application Type) seeks individuals who, in addition to the above, have the desire to utilize their English skills and be active internationally.
In General Selection A, the academic ability test measures the academic ability necessary to study medicine. The essay test measures logical thinking and expressiveness. The interview test measures a sense of purpose, initiative, communication skills, ethics, and expressiveness. The school report measures three elements of academic ability, focusing on high school studies, including extracurricular activities. For General Selection B, an English proficiency test will assess English proficiency across all four skills. The academic ability test will assess the academic ability required to study medicine. The essay test will assess logical thinking and expressiveness. The interview and task-based interview will assess a sense of purpose, initiative, communication skills, ethics, and expressiveness. The school report will assess the three elements of academic ability, focusing on high school studies, including extracurricular activities. A multifaceted and comprehensive assessment will be made based on the academic ability test, essay test, interview, school report, etc.
If it is not possible to prepare a report card, the student will be evaluated and judged using alternative documents or an interview.
Evaluation and Judgment Criteria
In both selection processes, the admissions process will be based on a multifaceted and comprehensive assessment of whether the candidate possesses the qualities and abilities that are reflected in the desired profile and whether they have sufficient academic ability as a student aspiring to become a doctor.
If any of the test items are extremely low, the student may be deemed to have failed. Students who are deemed to have passed will be required to continue to engage in the learning activities necessary for taking first-year courses.

This selection method emphasizes autonomy, diversity, and collaboration. In addition to evaluation based on the recommendation letter and school report from the high school principal, students are also evaluated and judged comprehensively from multiple angles, including an aptitude test to assess the knowledge and thinking ability necessary to study pharmacy. In particular, chemistry is a fundamental subject for acquiring more advanced pharmaceutical knowledge, and we evaluate whether students have sufficient academic ability.
General Selection
This is a selection method that is primarily based on academic ability tests. Exams are given in subjects necessary for studying pharmacy, and students' "knowledge and skills" as well as "ability to think, judge and express" are evaluated and judged. The interview exam measures understanding of the university's educational philosophy and admissions policy, sense of purpose, and motivation, as well as logical thinking and communication skills through a question-and-answer session. The school report measures the student's acquisition of the three elements of academic ability based on their high school studies, including extracurricular activities. Assessment is made from a multifaceted and comprehensive perspective, including aptitude tests, practical and exercise assignment exams, interviews, school report cards, and English proficiency tests.
School recommendation selection
We are looking for students who have studied all subjects diligently in high school, have well-balanced academic ability, and possess excellent character with the potential to work as medical professionals in the future. The aptitude test measures the basic academic ability required to study physical therapy and occupational therapy. The essay exam measures logical thinking and expression skills. Selection method
In order to select individuals who are capable of conducting research and studying in the broad field of medicine, we use an English proficiency test to assess basic reading and comprehension skills in medical English, as well as an interview to assess basic knowledge and understanding of the research field of the applicant's choice, clarity of thought, enthusiasm for studying, and logical thinking and application skills.
Graduate School of Pharmacy
