As an educational institution open to young people who aspire to be medical professionals, we believe that we must send out people who have acquired three qualities. The first is the professional medical personnel that society demands. The second is people who can set high goals for themselves and work hard to achieve them. The third is people who are confident and proud of what they have learned at Hyogo Medical University and who are involved in medical care with a love for the local community.

As a comprehensive medical university with a unified faculty of School of Medicine, School of Pharmacy, School of Nursing, and School of Rehabilitation, our university has been working on more practical IPE (interprofessional collaborative education). Since last year, we have been conducting a joint interprofessional collaborative comprehensive clinical training for the four faculties at Hyogo Medical University Sasayama Medical Center, and are working to train human resources who can respond immediately to I PW (interprofessional collaborative work) in which each profession is organically linked.

We have established departments where full-time doctors, medical professionals, and educational staff provide learning support, such as the Medical Education Center Education Supervision Center, which handles IPE as well as postgraduate clinical training and career support for certified and specialized nurses, Pharmaceutical Education Center Center. These education centers understand each student through individual instruction and support them so that they can become independent learners by drawing out their autonomy and enthusiasm, and they also focus on the humanity required of medical professionals, not just knowledge and skills, and aim to support their mastery.

Through our education system, we aim to nurture talented people who will master the path of medical professionals by acquiring these three qualities, while also hoping that students will approach their studies with hope and motivation and lead fulfilling university lives.
